The Event 2010 Bus Stop will be raising funds for the most voted animal charity - results are collected electronically from the voting form on the booking page. Bus Stop is a fantastic two day 'not for profit' VW & Retro Scooter Event welcoming all owners of Beetles, Golfs, Splits, Bays, Lambrettas, Vespas, T25's, Variants, Polo's, Lupo's, T4's, T5's and any other Classic or Custom VW out there. Bus Stop is arranged by a group of Enthusiasts who are in it for the love of VW's and the Welfare of Animals, so you know the atmosphere is great and food/drink prices good at this fund raising event. Come for FREE on Sat 17th to buy, sell, browse socialise or just relax. Most elements of the show will be raising funds for the Animal Rescue, so your presence will support their needs. Come for the day or stay on site overnight, camping is available in the Event and adjacent field for just £12 per person:-), this is the prebook price, gate price on the day for remaining plots will be £15. Free entry for kids with paying adults. Early Birds can arrive and camp on Friday night. The fee includes for Vehicle entry into the event field, Camping Fri/Sat in Crowborough, Sunday Cruise & Camping in Eastbourne. It also includes Show & Shine entry to Eastbourne Extreme or parking at the event. Camping & Cruise will require pre-booking as plots sell quick! Cruise to Show & Shine We have worked closely with Eastbourne Council to bring us the best. Our Cruise will leave Crowborough on Sunday a.m for a scenic route to Eastbourne. Our Show & Shine VW's will get VIP entrance to Eastbourne Extreme and will be authorised to drive onto the prominade and park on the beach to show the vehicles off to some of the 25,000 visitors. We will arrange our vehicles in Show & Shine order ready to leave at 10.30am on 18th July, we will then head south on the A26/A22. Any broken traffic will have a collection point on the A22 where we can stack all vehicles together. At the Polegate roundabout where the A22 meets the A27, we will bear right (signposted A27 west). Keep left and go in right lane at lights for Wannock. (this is the 2nd set of lights off the roundabout), its only a small road with light use where we can travel slow and allow to stack up before hitting the A259. We will then turn left on A259 through East Dean and then right towards Eastbourne - You will see the dramatic views high above Eastbourne before the decent towards the sea front For those who have booked, we have secured a plot on the seafront next to the main music stage and central to the activities. If youre not in the Show & Shine, you will also have secured parking where you may stay overnight (Please display your passes for parking and vehicle entry). If youre not into Power Kites, you might be after going to Eastbourne Extreme. Great for Adults and Kids!! So What Are You Waiting For? Book Monday off work and treat yourself to a long budget weekend of VW's & Fun at the 2010 Event!! Day Visitors To avoid disappointment, please only visit the show in Crowborough on Saturday 17th July. It is free entry til 6pm and there is free parking for visitors in a separate field. Please proceed to the Event Field through the Pedestrian Entrance adjacent the toilet block. Access permitted all areas but due to licensing conditions, we can only allow visitors who have booked to access the late evening entertainment. Day entry from 6pm to 12am is £5 per person Prebooked and Paying Guests You will receive wristband/s, flyer, Window Sticker Pass, Eastbourne S&S Entry Pass and T-Shirt (if ordered) in the post. Please display your sticker pass in the windscreen of your vehicle to access the Event Field and wear your wristbands for entry. The vehicle entrance is on Eridge Road. Traffic Marshalls will direct you in to your preferred club or camping spot in the Event Fields. At the vehicle entrance, you will be offered a welcome pack containing goodies for you!! Clubs Please ensure your members have booked their vehicles for the Event. Marshalls will assist in directing you to the plot. Please let the organisers know whether you wish to set up at Eastbourne on Sunday too.
